The Freeloader Portable Solar Charger is a portable charger that allows you to power any hand held device. The Freeloader Portable is constructed of heavy-duty aluminum, which is hard wearing, but also looks stylish. It comes with solar panels that allow you to get free solar energy.
The recharge takes about 8 hours. It can also be charged with the help of a charging cable supplied with your purchase. Just plug it into your USB port on your computer and in 3 hours the internal Li-ion battery is fully recharged.
Once recharged, the Freeloader can hold the battery charge for up to 3 months and power all of your portable devices. For example, it can power an iPod for up to 18 hours, a mobile phone for over 40 hours and a PDA for 22 hours. It weighs about 185g, size: 120mm x 60mm x 17mm and can therefore be packed very easily.
